Discover Fall Festivities in NoMa and The Morrow Hotel

There’s no shortage of things to love about our nation’s capital. From the exciting buzz of government business to the art and culture that permeates the city, every attraction sets the stage for a bright new day. There’s truly no bad time of year to visit Washington, D.C., but here at The Morrow Hotel, we’re a bit partial to fall. With exciting events happening throughout the season, now is the perfect time to plan an autumnal getaway at our modern hotel.

Movies at The Morrow

Kick off your fall adventure with our Movies at the Morrow series, a whimsical outdoor cinematic experience underneath the stars. Picture yourself in a comfortable, movie-style seat, watching one of your favorite films on a large, LED screen. To pair, enjoy handcrafted cocktails and concessions to make your movie experience truly unmatched. Keep an eye on our site to catch our next screening.

Join in on Fall Events in NoMa

When you’re ready to venture beyond your D.C. accommodations, our neighborhood has plenty of events for you to explore. On Thursday, October 26, Alethia Tanner Park will host PumpkinPalooza, a family-friendly event you won’t want to miss. You can enjoy live music, grab a slice from Timber Pizza, and show off in costume contests for people and pets. Face painting and a "pick-your-own" pumpkin patch will also be on the agenda.

For even more local entertainment, head to Wunder Garten, one of our favorite neighborhood hangouts, which is known for having a calendar full of exciting events. On November 11, grab your dancing shoes and go to "Absolute ABBA: A Disco Made in Sweden" for a free night of familiar tunes and good vibes all around. Plan your stay at The Morrow to make the most of what NoMa has to offer.

Latin American Design Week

From October 11 to 15, 2023, we are proud to be the exclusive hotel partner for Latin American Design Week (LAD). This groundbreaking event is the first of its kind in the United States, showcasing collectible art, fashion, and design from Latin America. As our guest, you'll have the unique opportunity to explore exquisite art exhibitions, witness cutting-edge design shows, and be inspired by innovative lectures, all within the heart of Washington, D.C.

A Taste of Francis Ford Coppola at Vesper

Join us for a night of dark mystique and intriguing cocktails on October 27 at Vesper, our sultry bar and lounge. On this spooky evening, we will transport you into the world of Francis Ford Coppola's "Dracula." Flowing absinthe towers will decorate tables, and our tarot card reader will add an extra layer of mysticism to your experience. There will be a $250 minimum for two-person seating, a $500 minimum for four or more, and there will be a 2.5-hour maximum for each seating. Bring along your friends and get ready for a night of fun that brings Dracula to life.

Survive the Apocalypse at Upstairs Rooftop

Upstairs at The Morrow will be hosting an unforgettable party on October 28 for Halloween lovers to enjoy. This year's theme is the apocalypse, so we recommend you “dress to survive.” With your $20 ticket, you can dance the night away with views of the D.C. skyline from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Celebrate the festivities with electric DJ sets, delicious food, and themed drink specials available on both Friday and Saturday.

After the festivities, come and stay at The Morrow for a fall stay filled with positive energy and endless excitement. From our star-lit outdoor cinema to vibrant, all-night-long parties, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Check out our list of fun-filled events, special offers, and surrounding attractions as you plan your trip. We can’t wait to experience it all with you in our nation’s capital.
